Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Do you love God?
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
1 Corinthians 8:3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
1 John 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
- Actions don’t just speak louder than words… they become the words spoken about you (testimony)
Can love be expressed without action? In John 3:16 we see God’s love to us… placed into action. For God so loved — that He gave. If we want to show God that we love Him… we must take His example and show Him our love… by putting it in action.
Are we serving God’s purpose?
2 Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
God can do something special when you do it together
- We are his hands, feet and voice
Acts 19:11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
