Supplies

• Toy/Bible or other gift

• Small Prizes/Candy 

• Wrapping Paper

• Tape
• Music

Preparation

Wrap the gift as you would a regular present. After the main gift is wrapped continue wraping the present one layer at a time putting one of the small prizes or a pice of candy in every layer. There is no limit on how many layers you can do but keep in mind it should be enough to last for a few minutes but not so many that the present is never reached.

Gameplay

 Put the children in a circle, give the gift to one of them and tell them which direction to pass it. when the music starts the gift must be passed from child to child until the music stops. Whoever is holding the gift when the music stops is allowed to open one layer and gets to keep what they find inside. Continue until the present is reached.

Tips

• If you have a large group of children you may consider making two presents and passing them simultaneously.

• If a child is caught holding onto the present while the music is playing they should be given a warning if they are caught again they should be removed from the game.
• Set a limit for how many small prizes a single child can get and if they get the present after this they should give the prize to the person beside them, however all should be eligible for the big gift.
